Three brothers, Liu Yao-Hui, Liu Zhi-Cheng and Liu De-Cai, purchased the first traditional lathe in 1975, and initially focused on OEM parts. In 1978, they established KUEN-HUEI INDUSTRIAL CO., Ltd. and gradually began to produce their own automatic lathe parts, and researched and developed ways to make the parts more durable, and to this day, KUEN-JENG’s spindles and tool holder slide are still synonymous with durability.
In 1989, we changed our name to KUEN JENG MACHINERY CO., LTD. , and in 1990, we introduced the still popular KUEN-JENG KJ-7 tool grander, which is even more famous in the industry. After nearly 30 years of experience in machining and R&D of automatic lathe components, KUEN-JENG Machinery set up a new factory in Xintian in 2000 and started to research and develop CNC lathes. With 30 years of experience, KUEN-JENG Machinery knows what kind of machines are needed for machining, and the design concepts of KUEN-JENG Machinery are high-speed, high-precision, and high-stability. With this concept, KUEN-JENG Machinery uses a large number of Japanese, Swedish, Swiss and Italian components to enhance the machine's high quality, high precision, high performance, high rigidity and to satisfy the more stringent processing conditions of our customers, and in 2002, KL-645 was born under this concept.
